California Assembly Member Miguel Santiago addressed the crowd of construction workers and guests, praising the project for creating much-needed housing and jobs for the area. Additional special guests included Los Angeles City Council Fourth District Senior Deputy, Nikki Ezhari; Los Angeles Wilshire Center/Koreatown Neighborhood Council President, Scott Suh; Los Angeles Rampart Village Neighborhood Council Secretary, Jennifer Abrillo; Ken CUDR Senior Construction Manager, Ken Cheung; Steinberg Architects President, David Hart; Steinberg Architects Los Angeles Managing Principal, Bob Lavey; Swinerton Builders Vice President and Orange County and Los Angeles Division Manager, Dave Callis; and Swinerton Builders Vice President of Operations for Orange County and Los Angeles, Ray Haj.
After the event, Swinerton Builders Project Manager Kevin Hermreck shared, “The ceremony here at 3033 Wilshire is the culmination of months of hard work from our project team and scores of tradespeople. This has been a great opportunity to pause and celebrate the great work completed to date, and to look ahead to the successful completion of the project.”
