David Hart on the designer’s perspective at CMAA+DBIA seminar “Design-Build from All Angles”

On July 9th, David Hart was a panelist, giving the Designer’s Perspective at a Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Southern California Chapter’s seminar with the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) entitled “Design-Build from All Angles.”

The utilization of Design Build delivery for a wide range of projects has increased exponentially in recent years due to key advantages of the model, including risk allocation, best value selection and design innovation. Drawing from this growing body of executed project experience, this industry leading panel will explore the design build delivery method from the distinct perspectives of each of the primary project participant roles. The array of diverse interests and concerns of each party will be articulated and compared, with identification of solutions and best practices that can address and align these interests to the benefit of the project.
