Ashley Biren


Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Architectural Science in 2011 and Master of Architecture in 2015 from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. As a graduate student, Ashley was a recipient of numerous awards, including AIA Henry Adams Medal and ARCC King Student Medal, and was nominated for the Canada Council’s Prix de Rome for Emerging Practitioners. At Ryerson, she conducted a research and design investigation exploring how movement in architecture enhances emotional well-being in occupants. Prior to attending graduate studies, Ashley worked at international firm Kasian Architecture where she specialized in mixed-use, retail, and residential buildings.
